AUCTIONS:

Picking an auctioneer is an important decision.  When your money is on the line, do you want someone who is fresh out of auction school, or do you want someone who has experience selling the types of items that you have.  Florida has strict licensing requirements. Ask for license numbers. The lower the number, the longer that individual or company has been licensed. A lot of people will say "I have been in the business for many years", check their licenses!

But licensing is only part of the process.  Ask the auctioneer if they have an on-going educational program. How many auctions have they conducted? Do they belong the The National & Florida Auctioneers Associations? When and how will you get paid?  It pays to ask your potential auctioneer lot's of questions.

We are proud of our experience. For 27 years we have assisted thousands of people in professionally liquidating their assets.  Whether you are liquidating a complete estate, or just one piece, we treat your auction as if it were our own.

Everyone asks about commissions.  We do not have a one commission fits all rate.  We realize that there are $5 items and we realize that there are $20,000 items.  We strive to offer you a fair commission based on what your items are.  We also take into consideration what it takes to present your auction event and what it takes to market it.

What About Ebay?

Sometimes an online auction is the answer.  We have taken the typical EBay style auction and gave it a supercharger!  We combine an online auction with a live auction and can produce results that are far superior to your typical EBay selling.  When you combine both venues, you have truly achieved fair market value.  At a past auction, we had over 200 buyers in our gallery, and over 800 bidders online! When you get that many bidders competing on your items, amazing things happen! This style of auction is not for everything, but for the right items it is the best way to sell.  We have done several of these auctions over the years and we are recognized as a leader in the State of Florida.  When the Florida Auctioneers Association needed an expert to give a seminar on this subject, they called on Chris Fisher to present it.

APPRAISALS:

A long history of real experience is what qualifies Fisher's Auction & Appraisal Services to produce appraisals fo the highest possible degree of accuracy. All appraisals are in compliance with the standards and ethics as set forth in The Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practices (USPAP).

Our staff remain current on local, regional and national industry and financial trends and their impact on the value of assets under consideration. To further analyze these trends, we maintain a library of trade publication and catalogs, an information network of dealer and in-house records from our computerized data base among other reference resources.

But, there are many divergent variables that come into play in appraisal work. Because we have an intimate knowledge of these factors, our appraising becomes a defined science. All of this allows us to make accurate, clear, honest, confident statements of value.

Our assessments are regarded as being among the best the field has to offer.

LIQUIDATIONS:

Fisher's Auction & Appraisal Services is familiar with every type of sale; live auction, silent auction, tag sales, bid proposal sales etc. We are equally comfortable with sales as big as entire estates or complete businesses or as small as a single piece of furniture or machinery.

We apply the same professional and thorough standards towards all types of liquidations as we do to our auctions. We use an aggressive marketing campaign to position the assets to the proper target markets. No matter what type of liquidation, we are above all else, dependable and thorough and aim for the largest possible return.
